I got to hang out with Ava & Ethan over the weekend at Spanish Banks here in Vancouver. They are one fun pair of siblings! Running & jumping on the beaches, chasing rabbits through the trails and the mandatory mode of transportation on mom & dads shoulders made for a pretty great afternoon. I can’t wait to share more, but for now, a preview of our session.

  1. Thanks! I used a program cllead Comic Life that lets you drag and drop photos into boxes and add text, speech balloons, etc. It’s really easy to get started with, but pretty flexible, and sometimes I pull the pages into Photoshop to finish up or add other details.

  2. I think you hit a bullseye there fellas!

  3. Hallelujah! I needed this-you’re my savior.

  4. Cheers pal. I do appreciate the writing.

  5. I was struck by the honesty of your posting

  6. It’s a real pleasure to find someone who can think like that

  7. Thanks for the great info dog I owe you biggity.

  8. Deadly accurate answer. You’ve hit the bullseye!

  9. I was seriously at DefCon 5 until I saw this post.

  10. I actually found this more entertaining than James Joyce.

  11. A little rationality lifts the quality of the debate here. Thanks for contributing!

  12. This article achieved exactly what I wanted it to achieve.

  13. I’m not easily impressed but you’ve done it with that posting.

  14. My hat is off to your astute command over this topic-bravo!

  15. At last! Someone who understands! Thanks for posting!

  16. God, I feel like I should be takin notes! Great work

  17. Thinking like that is really amazing

  18. Impressive brain power at work! Great answer!

  19. I am forever indebted to you for this information.

  20. I was struck by the honesty of your posting

  21. I hate my life but at least this makes it bearable.

  22. Too many compliments too little space, thanks!

  23. I bow down humbly in the presence of such greatness.

  24. You’ve got it in one. Couldn’t have put it better.

  25. At last! Someone with real expertise gives us the answer. Thanks!

  26. It’s like you’re on a mission to save me time and money!

  27. I really appreciate free, succinct, reliable data like this.

  28. Brilliance for free; your parents must be a sweetheart and a certified genius.

  29. Apparently this is what the esteemed Willis was talkin’ ’bout.

  30. Articles like this are an example of quick, helpful answers.

  31. To think, I was confused a minute ago.

  32. Just cause it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not super helpful.

  33. Your thinking matches mine – great minds think alike!

  34. As Charlie Sheen says, this article is “WINNING!”

  35. A minute saved is a minute earned, and this saved hours!

  36. Gee whiz, and I thought this would be hard to find out.

  37. That’s really thinking out of the box. Thanks!

  38. Kudos! What a neat way of thinking about it.

  39. God help me, I put aside a whole afternoon to figure this out.

  40. If not for your writing this topic could be very convoluted and oblique.

  41. I was so confused about what to buy, but this makes it understandable.

  42. You’re the greatest! JMHO

  43. That’s the best answer of all time! JMHO

  44. Wow. I am amazed you found out only so recently. You touch on many topics I think about all the time for PunditGirl. Of course, we have talked about her adoption story since she was a baby, but since she was born in China, unless the Chinese government starts allowing DNA testing and now-anonymous birth parents come forward, we will never know her birth parents’ identities. I’m actually working on trying to get as much information for her as we can, but to say it’s difficult in her situation is an understatementI would SO love to talk with you more about this.

  45. In the complicated world we live in, it’s good to find simple solutions.

  46. At last, someone comes up with the “right” answer!

  47. Finding this post has answered my prayers

  48. Your posting lays bare the truth

  49. All of these articles have saved me a lot of headaches.

  50. Cheers pal. I do appreciate the writing.

  51. Great article but it didn’t have everything-I didn’t find the kitchen sink!

  52. Jan24 I have Tumblr’s, tweeted, FB’d and Emailed this to everyone – I hope EVERYONE gets to real this. So Powerful – I had to read it twice and I know I will come back to read it again. Well done Roe – I feel my FURY everyday but I will now embrace it and use it to encourage myself to be who I want to be because no one else is going to do that for me. Thank you for writing this and giving me, and no doubt so many other women in Ireland and Beyond some Hope within our Rage. xxx

  53. This part of the story finally did it for me. It was interesting before this, in a casual sort of way. After all, there have been a LOT of these stories, and this wasn’t anything new.But this really hooked me on the story, really hooked me on Bernie. I didn’t like Bernie much before this. I didn’t dislike him, but there wasn’t all that much to like, either. Now, I like him. Now, I care what happens to him. This makes a big difference for me.This is the point where the book went from OK to a must buy, at least for me.

  54. One thing I’d really like to say is before acquiring more computer system memory, consider the machine into which it could well be installed. If your machine will be running Windows XP, for instance, the particular memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Using over this would easily constitute any waste. Make certain that one’s mother board can handle your upgrade volume, as well. Great blog post.

  55. Reading this makes my decisions easier than taking candy from a baby.

  56. Slam dunkin like Shaquille O’Neal, if he wrote informative articles.

  57. These topics are so confusing but this helped me get the job done.

  58. A really good answer, full of rationality!

  59. With every little thing that seems to be developing throughout this specific area, your points of view happen to be quite radical. However, I am sorry, but I do not subscribe to your entire theory, all be it refreshing none the less. It seems to me that your commentary are generally not entirely rationalized and in fact you are generally your self not really completely convinced of your argument. In any event I did appreciate reading through it.

  60. Anne:We started introducing bottles at about three weeks. Once I was back at work, Trixie would get bottles during the day but still nurse at nights and on weekends. When my call and work schedules became really unpredictable, Trixie did more bottlefeeding and less breastfeeding. Now she only breastfeeds once in a blue moon. (Sometimes it makes me sad that she does so much better with the bottle, but it’s for the best. Plus, she’s a biter!)

  61. I was looking everywhere and this popped up like nothing!

  62. Excellent stuff from you, man. Ive read your stuff before and youre just also awesome. I really like what youve got right here, adore what youre saying and the way you say it. You make it entertaining and you still manage to maintain it sensible. I cant wait to examine more from you. This is really a great blog page.

  63. Haha. I woke up down today. You’ve cheered me up!

  64. I’ve already got four of those novels in other forms, but this edition is so well done that I couldn’t resist. These novels get the full Library of America treatment – author bios, textual history, and notes. Gary Wolfe has done a great job with those, making them interesting for fans and not just sci-fi scholars.

  65. Help me out here, I did not get to have details on the FG attempt where Harrison was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. Setting up a 1st and goal from the 2. What happened? This greatly affected the outcome. Tenn would only have had a 6 pt lead instead of 10.

  66. Someone will hire him. There are about 300 real channels on my direct tv menu. Even on a worthless channel like Current, Olbermann drew 2-3 hundred thousand viewers. On MSNBC, he drew between 600k and a million.Reminds me of a guy I knew in the car business. He was an insufferable and insubordinate ass who made everyone around him miserable….but he put out 15-20 cars a month. No matter what he did to get fired from his last job, a sales manager somewhere would see the dollar signs and hire him.

  67. Essays like this are so important to broadening people’s horizons.

  68. Hello! This is kind of off topic but I need some advice from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. 77. Is that really all there is to it because that’d be flabbergasting.

  78. It’s good to see someone thinking it through.

  79. I’d have to agree with you there. Everyone is NOT the same. I have traveled all over Europe and can definitely tell you that people are different from country to country, as well as from town to town. My parents are from a small shepherding village, but a bustling seaside modern city is just 40 minutes away. The people there have a VERY different mentality. It is a matter of your history, but it is also a matter of nurture. The people who say that everyone is the same, probably haven’t had a wide enough spectrum of comparison.

  80. The truth just shines through your post

  81. So excited I found this article as it made things much quicker!

  82. Hats off to whoever wrote this up and posted it.

  83. Ho ho, who woulda thunk it, right?

  84. Ah, i see. Well that’s not too tricky at all!”

  85. Thanks for the suggestions you have discussed here. Also, I believe there are a few factors which will keep your car insurance premium decrease. One is, to think about buying motors that are inside the good set of car insurance corporations. Cars which are expensive will be more at risk of being stolen. Aside from that insurance coverage is also using the value of your automobile, so the higher in price it is, then the higher your premium you make payment for.

  86. The answer of an expert. Good to hear from you.

  87. Created the greatest articles, you have.

  88. Holy concise data batman. Lol!

  89. You mean I don’t have to pay for expert advice like this anymore?!

  90. Most help articles on the web are inaccurate or incoherent. Not this!

  91. A rolling stone is worth two in the bush, thanks to this article.

  92. That insight’s perfect for what I need. Thanks!

  93. Hello there! This is kind of off topic but I need some guidance from an established blog. Is it very difficult to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty quick. I’m thinking about making my own but I’m not sure where to begin. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Thank you

  94. I never thought I would find such an everyday topic so enthralling!

  95. If you want to get read, this is how you should write.

  96. Hi I am so excited I found your webpage, I really found you by mistake, while I was browsing on Google for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say many thanks for a tremendous post and a all round interesting blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to read it all at the minute but I have saved it and also added your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the superb work.

  103. If you want to get read, this is how you should write.

  104. Hi!I love the website! Someone else must really love it too cause I found it linked from another site I came across looking for baby ducks on Google Images! Lol! Anyways, it’s amazing how much effort you must put into this. I’m not sure which would be more exhausting! Looking after a toddler or keeping this site updated! 0_oAnyhow, keep up the good work. I have a niece about roughly the same age. She was born a few weeks premature in August instead tho. Interesting to see the parallels!

  105. Effectively, this is my very first go to for your weblog! We’re a gaggle of volunteers and beginning a model new initiative in a community inside the same niche. Your weblog provided us useful information to work on. You’ve got carried out a marvellous job! Anyway, in my language, there should not much good supply like this.

  106. Ho ho, who woulda thunk it, right?

  107. I feel satisfied after reading that one.

  108. We could’ve done with that insight early on.

  109. The honesty of your posting shines through

  110. Ben – trust me when I say one nap is great. when Olivia transitioned she went from two 90 minutes naps to one long four hour nap on occasion. Now she’s down to about 2 1/2 hours for her nap, but when you get those long 4 hour naps it is pure bliss.

  111. Your blogs and adventures make me smile as I read them. As someone who makes a living band aiding sick stick buildings to make them healthier and more liveable, reading about the beautiful materials and work you’re doing gives me a delightful break and vicarious thrill to say the least. Can’t thank you enough for sharing, Bill! Sending you and Athena a big hello!

  112. I force myself not to fear it is too late and remind myself that We the People still have an opportunity to make things right in 2010 or, at the very least, reestablish a balance by voting against what Mr. Obama, Ms. Pelosi, Mr. Reed and their cohorts want to impose on our great country.

  113. Finding this post has solved my problem

  116. Never would have thunk I would find this so indispensable.

  117. Your article perfectly shows what I needed to know, thanks!

  118. Howdy! Interesting post! I am just a frequent visitor (alot more like addict ) of this website unfortunately I had a question. I am just certainly not totally sure if it is the right site to question, but you have no spam comments. I get comments day to day. Could you help me? Thx!

  119. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Chrome. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Kudos

  120. I just cant stop reading this.  Its so cool, so full of information that I just didnt know.  Im glad to see that people are actually writing about this issue in such a smart way, showing us all different sides to it.  Youre a great blogger.  Please keep it up.  I cant wait to read whats next.

  121. A really good answer, full of rationality!

  122. Chez, I have to agree with you here. The “Galactica in freefall” scene was totally badass! BG’s probably my fave fictional TV show out there right now. The parallels they draw to current events (or what least what could be current events) is pretty amazing.BTW, my likely fave show hands down as of late has to be by your (former?) co-worker Keith Olberrmann. The man is truly “an angry prophet denouncing the hypocrisy of our times.”Finally, when are you bringing Midweek Metal back? If Justin can do it with sexy, this should be of little effort…Slainte mhath,Fred

  123. There’s a terrific amount of knowledge in this article!

  124. I’m impressed, I need to say. Really not often do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you’ve gotten hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the problem is one thing that not sufficient persons are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for one thing relating to this.

  125. BION I’m impressed! Cool post!

  126. I’ve been looking for a post like this forever (and a day)

  127. You have shed a ray of sunshine into the forum. Thanks!

  128. Thanks for contributing. It’s helped me understand the issues.

  129. Wowza, problem solved like it never happened.

  130. Great article, thank you again for writing.

  131. I can’t believe you’re not playing with me–that was so helpful.

  132. Hmm it looks like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for rookie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

  133. Thinking like that is really amazing

  134. Wow, that’s a really clever way of thinking about it!

  135. It’s really great that people are sharing this information.

  136. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

  137. Until I found this I thought I’d have to spend the day inside.

  138. Cheers pal. I do appreciate the writing.

  139. This is the accurate World’s Most Cute And Beautiful Baby Image.. – Let's Cocktail blog for anyone who wants to essay out out some this issue. You respond so such its near wearying to present with you (not that I real would want…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic thats been written nigh for years. Good foul, just enthusiastic!

  140. Impressive brain power at work! Great answer!

  141. I have realized that car insurance providers know the cars and trucks which are vulnerable to accidents and various risks. Additionally , they know what form of cars are inclined to higher risk plus the higher risk they’ve got the higher your premium price. Understanding the basic basics with car insurance will assist you to choose the right type of insurance policy that will take care of your family needs in case you happen to be involved in any accident. Many thanks sharing the ideas in your blog.

  142. Good points all around. Truly appreciated.

  143. I wanted to spend a minute to thank you for this.

  144. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance. I must say you have done a great job with this. Also, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox. Excellent Blog!

  145. That hits the target perfectly. Thanks!

  146. these are the problems in IE6:1-the main div which contains your portfolio and information is not properly visible, means the upper area (wehre you place the expand button) is not showing. some empty are is on bottom.2- next and previous buttons are not working.3- sliding is not smooth.else i am sending you a screen-shot of home page.(sorry to misspell your name in previous post)

  147. Thank God! Someone with brains speaks!

  148. That’s a genuinely impressive answer.

  149. Certainly a good point – The Hunger Games being a clear recent example.I’m OK with much of the 40s/50s stuff aimed at young adults – Heinlein, Poul Anderson, and Andre Norton wrote great juveniles. What I find most juvenile about van Vogt’s books is the attitude – the books are always centered around a narcissistic super-science genius who always knows more than anyone else, who is nearly always right, and whose biggest problem is usually that nobody listens to him. Classic adolescent fantasy.

  151. I’m shocked that I found this info so easily.

  152. Hello! Quick question that’s completely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My web site looks weird when viewing from my iphone4. I’m trying to find a template or plugin that might be able to resolve this problem. If you have any recommendations, please share. Cheers!

  153. I literally jumped out of my chair and danced after reading this!

  154. That's really an inspiring project! The exterior is unique, the design is unique, the location is unique, everything is extremely unique! I also have a unique home in provided us everything we need like and materials. The other materials in my unique home were also handled with care by professional architects and they carefully planned and designed our home.

  155. I am forever indebted to you for this information.

  156. Admiring the time and effort you put into your web site and in depth data you offer. It is very good to come across a weblog every once in a whilst that isn’t exactly the same out of date rehashed material. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your web site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

  157. After all the press that the Trixie Update has been garnering, it’s not really surprising that it has itself become a major news source. I just wanted to point out that TTU scooped NYT recently.Last week, the New York Times, in its ongoing human-interest series on Las Vegas, conducted a lengthy interview with a stripper named Trixie. Whereas, here at the Trixie Update, we’d already covered that issue fairly completely.Congratulations, Trixie Update, on beating the New York Times to the discussion of this important issue. Now, what about Valerie Plame? Do you think her parents called her “Val”?

  158. Articles like this are an example of quick, helpful answers.

  159. Greetings! Quick question that’s entirely off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My weblog looks weird when browsing from my iphone 4. I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% sure. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it

  162. Its like you read my own thoughts! You seem to know so much about it, like you wrote the book in it or something. I’m sure that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is exactly wonderful web site. A good read. I’ll certainly be back again.

  163. Shiver me timbers, them’s some great information.

  175. Deadly accurate answer. You’ve hit the bullseye!

  176. To my favorite “Monk:”Thank you so much sir, for a whole lot more than just this comment. I owe you quite a bit, and certainly am appreciative of your wisdom during a couple of difficult times. That aside, WOW — A Boy and His Dog. What a hell of a reference. “World War Three, hot and cold, lasted…””Another word of wisdom from ‘The Committee’s Almanac’.'”Blood the dog remains one of my favorite characters in the history of cult film. My favorite line of his: “Mmm, breeding is an ugly thing.”

  183. Thanks for introducing a little rationality into this debate.

  184. IJWTS wow! Why can’t I think of things like that?

  188. The ability to think like that is always a joy to behold

  189. Why does this have to be the ONLY reliable source? Oh well, gj!

  190. That’s the smart thinking we could all benefit from.

  191. No complaints on this end, simply a good piece.

  192. This is crystal clear. Thanks for taking the time!

  193. Wow! Great to find a post knocking my socks off!

  194. An answer from an expert! Thanks for contributing.

  197. Thanks for that! It’s just the answer I needed.

  198. I needed to write down a brief notice in buy to thanks for all the fantastic suggestions you’re placing at this website. My prolonged internet lookup has at the finish of the day been recognized with reliable details and techniques to trade with my co-workers. I would assert that several of us readers really are seriously lucky to live in a important location with quite several excellent individuals with insightful pointers.

  199. Thanks for your posting. Another element is that just being a photographer involves not only issues in capturing award-winning photographs but in addition hardships in acquiring the best digital camera suited to your requirements and most especially issues in maintaining the quality of your camera.
